Computer Repairs by Post

Do we offer computer repairs by post?  Yes, we do. Conditions apply as follows :
 

• SHIPPING METHOD — Only by recorded delivery against signature using a reputable carrier.
• RETURN SHIPPING — The cost of return shipping and insurance will be borne by the customer.
• DOUANES — Any import / export charges levied will be borne by the customer. 
• PACKING — The computer, laptop or other device must be packaged appropriately.
• DAMAGED GOODS — If the carrier attempts to deliver a package that is damaged, it will be refused and not signed-for.
   

Please do remember that computers are very fragile items, so the contents of the shipping container which is usually a stout cardboard box, must be secure and robustly encased and totally surrounded using plenty of shock-absorbing materials such as bubble-wrap, polystyrene, foam, corrugated cardboard or other similar materials. 

If you are unsure of how much packaging to use, think about how you would pack and post a dozen wine glasses in a cardboard box to reach their destination without any breakages !

If you don't have enough packing materials handy, then either wait until you do, or go buy some at a store that sells office supplies. There you'll find self-assembly boxes, bubble-wrap, wide adhesive packing tape and many other materials to get the job done so that your computer arrives safe and sound.

Please don't scrimp on packing and check to make sure you have sufficient insurance to protect you from loss or damage whilst your computer is in transit to Riches Informatique.

But which reputable carrier you use, is entirely up to you ! We get deliveries every day !

Oh, nearly forgot... How do you pay for computer repairs by post ? Easy. When your computer is ready to ship back to you, we send you an invoice by email and in that invoice is a link which takes you to a very popular on-line bank where you can pay with your credit or debit card. Or, you can post a cheque in euros but that takes longer if you're in a hurry to get your computer back. If you're in no rush, and prefer to post a cheque, then no worries !
